DESCRIPTION:Does the Bible lay out the divine master plan for the archetypes and how they interact?  In the pages of the Old Testament there is a code that carries a secret script for those who were in on it\, and it is simply this: \nThe first sixteen chapter of the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament) equate to the twelve signs of the zodiac. Like Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs\, you simply went to the chapter of your Sun Sign in order to gain insights about yourself. For instance\, if you’re a Scorpio\, you would go to the eighth book\, Ruth\, and study it’s themes. Opening lines of the book\, there’s a famine. The husband dies\, then\, a few lines later\, the two male children die. Mann (born August 18\, 1943\, in Auburn\, New York) is an American astrologer\, author\, designer and artist who has written 18 books and is best known for his books and paintings on astrology and sacred architecture\, sexuality and gardens. Mann graduated from the Cornell University College of Architecture in 1966 and worked as an architect for Gruzen & Partners\, Davis Brody Associates\, and Robert A. M. Stern in New York City and The Architects’ Collaborative (TAC) European office in Rome. \nIn 1970\, Mann and Stuart Cohen as principal designers at Gruzen & Partners Architects won a Progressive Architecture Magazine Design Awards Citation for “Low Income Public Housing for Queens\, New York” (January 1970\, pp. 98–99)\, Annual Awards Issue. Mann has written many astrology books based on the concept of a logarithmic time scale derived from the work of G. I. Gurdjieff\, P. D. He regularly taught at the UK Astrological Association in London\, and the Unicorn School of Astro-psychology and the Scandinavian Astrologi Skole in Copenhagen. \nMann is one of the more prolific astrological authors\, and he designed and illustrated most of his own books. From 1973-1980\, Mann was a founding partner of Phenomenon Publications in London\, and co-wrote\, designed and illustrated The Phenomenon Book of Calendars that were published in the UK and US yearly for eight years. We often don’t consider how profoundly this is a world-wide language\, and how much astrological perception is part of the soul of culture.\nOur astrological dialects are part of our community’s culture\, and can also help us read for those of different cultures. Anne will explore how different cultures read astrology differently and how we can use these diversities in our own practice.\n\nAnne Beversdorf\, author of Vedic Secrets to Happiness\, has been a professional astrological counselor since 1993.  She combines both Western and  Vedic astrology in each consultation.  In addition to spiritual development and predictive work\, her consulting includes Vedic astrological remedies.  Anne has received a Lifetime Achievement Award (for astrology) from Marquis’ Who’s Who and has accepted an invitation to speak at an International Astrology Conference in India in February 2020. She has read at least  18\,000 charts in her nearly 27-year practice and has frequently published articles in The Mountain Astrologer\, IAM (International Astrological Magazine)\, and a dozen others\, large and small. DESCRIPTION:“Embody the Truth\, Not your Myth” \nTo some extent we all live out our myth. the frame of reference we adapted in our childhood and the genetic code we inherited from our ancestors. The horoscope reveals this myth\, the thinker “I” “me” or “self” that determines our destiny. All Vedic Life sciences including\, Yoga and Vedic Astrology\, were created not to embody\, but to be liberated from our myth. Jung referred to this as psychological maturation\, so our true personality can emerge. Joseph Campbell saw this innate human struggle as the basis of a broad spectrum of myths and stories throughout cultures and history\, which he called the monomyth. \nMost healing modalities\, including the monomyth\, suggest a chronology of stages. In Vedic Astrology healing is not sequential\, we can stay in one stage for decades\, or totally skip some of the stages. In this lecture\, Renu will use the template of Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey and the ancient Vedic algorithms of the 120-year planetary cycles of the Vimshottari Dasha system to see how the storyline of each unique horoscope unfolds decade by decade\, year by year and month by month.
