Astrology: Our International Common Language
Astrologers know that we have a Language which is not the same language non-astrologers speak. We often don’t consider how profoundly this is a world-wide language, and how much astrological perception is part of the soul of culture.
Our astrological dialects are part of our community’s culture, and can also help us read for those of different cultures. Anne will explore how different cultures read astrology differently and how we can use these diversities in our own practice.
Anne Beversdorf, author of Vedic Secrets to Happiness, has been a professional astrological counselor since 1993. She combines both Western and Vedic astrology in each consultation. In addition to spiritual development and predictive work, her consulting includes Vedic astrological remedies. Anne has received a Lifetime Achievement Award (for astrology) from Marquis’ Who’s Who and has accepted an invitation to speak at an International Astrology Conference in India in February 2020. She has read at least 18,000 charts in her nearly 27-year practice and has frequently published articles in The Mountain Astrologer, IAM (International Astrological Magazine), and a dozen others, large and small. Anne is currently the Librarian for the Alexandria Project’s internet-accessible Astro-Catalogue (about 13,000 entries to date) at www.alexandriaibase.org. Anne received a BA, Magna Cum Laude, from UT Austin, and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Indiana University. She has lectured internationally and has a global clientele. Anne always welcomes new clients.
